Looking to connect with Latin Americans planning to move to Canada, I created a channel to provide valuable insight into the dynamics of the country.

Inspired by the challenges I encountered on my immigration pathway, I wanted to give practical information about how to live here- no more videos about how beautiful the country is and why you should move here, but about how to move around, get a job and thrive.

Additionally, motivated by the lack of material on Canadian culture, I wanted to show Spanish speakers more of the history and the political influences that have shaped our nation. From the state of urban planning to Quebec independentism, I explore key topics to allow viewers and potential future immigrants to have meaningful conversations about Canada upon arrival.

Finally, when a lot of the discourse targeted to immigrants by predatory companies and independent agents can be deceitful or half-truths, this practical information becomes highly relevant to protect uninformed new Canadians and to create a more transparent image of Canada and its current challenges. In the end, this contributes to immigration composed of individuals who understand the tradeoffs of moving here but still consider that the country has a lot to offer and are consequently more motivated to give back a lot to Canada.

The channel is still growing, with over 1300 subscribers from 18 countries who want to learn more about Canada to make an informed decision for their lives.
